Make an Infographic Design

INFOGRAPHICS ARE THE HOTTEST NEW TREND IN DESIGN & MARKETING
WHY WE LOVE INFOGRAPHICS (AND WHY YOU SHOULD TOO!)
Design professionals and marketers alike are always looking for the best way to engage readers and get clear messages across. The birth of the infographic spelled one of the most exciting new trends to come out over the last year or so. We strive to entertain the eyes while people read. We break things down and take purveyors on a journey, where data is much easier to assimilate and relationships are better seen fleshed-out, rather than confined to the world of black & white Times New Roman 12 pt. font. You get the picture! But in case you don’t, here is a living, working example of how an infographic works…
REVEL IN THE BEAUTY OF THE INFOGRAPHIC!
Given the “pain at the pump” and all the complaints about exorbitant gas prices lately, we thought it’d be fun to put things into proper perspective with an illuminating infographic showing the cost comparison of various liquids. Did you know that printer ink was far more expensive than human blood, penicillin, vodka and crude oil? It’s mind-boggling, isn’t it?
INFOGRAPHICS ARE GREAT FOR SEO, LINKBACKS, EXPOSURE
As designers, we’re junkies for fonts and colors and pictures and pretty things, naturally… but there is a practical benefit to choosing infographics as well. An infographic is an SEO gold mine because it’s so unique, so vivid and so interesting that many other websites, blogs and companies will want to link to you! For maximum promotion value, you can add 1-click sharing to your infographic that lets people show friends on social networks quickly and easily. In addition to posting your infographic to your blog (which seems to be the most obvious choice), you can also post it on your webpage, social networks, news affiliates, newsletters and mailers.
